Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
From the beginning the first man (Adam) sinned against GOD. His Sin separated us from GOD. But we all have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD. The older I get the more I understand that there is no such thing as a sinless human being other than Jesus Christ. It’s a fact that we are born in sin and shaped in iniquity. Just like a dog is expected to bark our human nature is to sin. It is so easy to sin. We can sin without even thinking about it. We sin in three ways: word, thought or deed. I have heard that sin starts as a thought and then we decide to do it. We always have the choice to sin or not to sin. The Bible says that if you think about murdering someone in our heart it’s the same thing, even if we don’t do it. We sin with things we say like: lying, cursing (cursing is actually what it sounds like, we speak curses on people), and blasphemy are a few ways we sin with our words.Deeds are things like: Adultery, fornication, murder and stealing to name a few. The Bible speaks of three main ways the devil gets us in trouble: Lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and the pride of life. So it is easy to understand that we are sinful people. Just watch the news one day and you will see how sinful men are. And it is not just the city you live in. Go to any city and you will see the same things going on. We are guilty of sin and we have sinned against a holy GOD. We only sin against GOD. The wages of Sin is death. GOD considers sin such a great violation against him that the penalty for any sin other than blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is only satisfied with the shedding of blood. We find ourselves with a debt to great to pay. All we can do on our own is perish and be casted into hell forever. But GOD loves us so much that he sent his only begotten son to redeem us and pay the cost of our sins. All we have to do is confess with our mouth Jesus is lord and believe that GOD raised him from the dead to die for my sins and we will be saved. He died for me even before I was born. GOD has restored away through his son for men to have a relationship with him now and forever more. When Christ died on the Cross he did it for me.
My Prayer
GOD my prayer is that everyone accepts your son and his completed work on the cross. Then you can forgive us our sins and restore in us a new and acceptable spirit. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
