John 9:4

I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Sometimes I go to pickup my grandson from school. He gets out of school at 2:15 so I leave early and will get there around 1:50 p.m. And then you guessed it wait. I sit there a while and then I get impatient. And then I ask myself why did I leave so early. And then I say to myself If I had left later and something happens, I will be late. After battling with this for while an idea came up. I ask myself why don’t you find something useful to do while waiting like writing this devotion. And then I said to myself this is an excellent idea. I should do this more often. whenever I’m not doing anything just think about things I could be doing and the things I need to do. And if all else fails I could be praying.

Heavenly Father help me to realize that all time is precious. There is no dead time. Help me to work while I still have light. Amen
