Love or Hate

By Kenneth Leonard

Main Scripture: Galatians 5:13-14

Category:

Gal 5:13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

I hate you because you are short.

I hate you because you are tall.

I hate you because you are black.

I hate you because you are white.

I hate you because you are rich.

I hate you because you are poor.

I hate you because you are slow.

I hate you because you are fast.

Why I love you.

I love you because you are short.

I love you because you are tall.

Wait the same reasons why I hate is the same reasons I love. Because love and hate is a choice. Our free will gives us the ability to choose our walk. We can walk in the spirit or we can walk in the flesh. If we walk in the spirit the greatest of the spirit is Love. That would mean that the greatest of the flesh is hate. GOD is Love and Satan is Hate.

Choose ye this day which GOD you will serve. You can’t walk in both at the same time because they are contrary to each other. So the next time you feel yourself hating know that it is not of GOD and is not one of the fruit of the spirit. Choose Love.

Gal 5:14 says For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Prayer

Father forgive me when I stumble and walk in the flesh. I pray that I keep my flesh under subjection according to your word. It is my desire not to just trust you but also to obey you In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
