Verse: Isaiah 43:8-9
Bring out the blind people who have eyes. And the deaf who have ears. Let all the nations be gathered together. And let the people be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring out their witnesses, that they may be justified; Or let them hear and say “It is truth”.
A few day ago I experience an overwhelming change in my prospective of life. Sometimes our views are narrow and our understanding is immature, childish, or even dormant. So God gives use an experience that will jump start our spiritual sight to be able to see beyond our singular self. This journey is not about ourselves.
A lot of times it takes more than a whisper to get our attention. The will of man is a strong vise that can work for or against God’s Perfect will. Man will never fully understand the full vision of God’s plan for our life, so we choose not to see it completely. We choose to turn a blind eye to His instructions thinking that would be an easier road to travel. We soon learn that without God there is nothing, no vision, no sight, no plan…blind.
A person that is blind is limited to understanding others, to finding their own footing or to walk along side others in unity. The blessing of sight opens up the eyes to physical and spiritual vision that can not be explained with mere words but the clarity of sight is to comprehend. Once understood, God’s plan is ideal and built just for you.
Prayer
Dear God, I know the love you have for your people. I know that the one lost lamb is endeared to you. Open our eyes so that we many see your plan to further witness spreading hope and salvation. Help us to understand how to advance your kingdom.
Amen.
