1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord waiting

He appeared in the sky just like he said he would. The dead in Christ rose up first and then all the living saints were caught up to meet him in the air. It happened so fast. In a moment in a twinkling of and eye. I looked around but I did not see many people. Where is my best friend, Bob. Where is cousin Cleo. Where is my boss, Brian. Where is my nephew, Nick. My neighbor, My uncle, Kids from the neighborhood, the mailman, the guy at the grocery store. I use to see them every day. And now they are missing.

Wow then I woke up. I’m ok now. It was just a dream. But could it happen that way? Will it happen that way? This wasn’t a real dream but one I made up. What does the Bible say. We will find out. This is a terrible scenario when you think about that day and you say to yourself, I could have told someone. I could have told them the Good News. I could have told them about Jesus. Some say speak life. I say speak everlasting life.’

Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your son to the cross that I might be saved. Give me the heart to tell my brothers and sisters the good news so we all may dwell in the house of the lord forever.
