One day my newly employed granddaughter came over to the house with a business proposal for me.
The proposal was a little self-serving, but hey – Who doesn’t want to support their grandchild?
Checking out the interior of her recently purchased car, I noticed the black white and hot pink interior. I wondered – Who would customize their car’s interior to look like a zebra standing on a hot pink shag carpet?
That’s right, those black, and white seat covers really startled me! Her reaction to my alarm was “Don’t judge me”.
We eventually agreed to the business arrangement, and here’s what happened next.
My grandchild moved to Florida and went on to work at Disney World in the Graphic Design Department.
I guess those zebra-looking seat covers, weren’t so peculiar after all. They simply indicated that the audience for her sense of style was sixty years younger than me.
Who did you judge – The child or me? Before you judge, look for the good in every situation. God may be in it.
She has a child of her own now, and you should see some of the things that she designs to keep him entertained!
Disney must be proud of her… And so am I.
